I WAS most encouraged by the no-nonsense action taken by the Kuala Muda district health office when it ordered a school canteen in Sungai Petani to partially shut down for two weeks for flouting the Health Ministry’s cleanliness guidelines, “Dirty canteen partially shut” (The Star, March 6).
Where the health of our school children is concerned, there should be no compromise.
