Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has expressed confidence in agriculture and the need to energise it, for a variety of sound reasons. The blossoming of this sector has been noted by industry players and policymakers alike, and will duly be reflected in the Ninth Malaysia Plan to be launched next month.
