YET another Tamil superstar has made the plunge in to the political theatre. And not unlike his idol, the late MGR, who had successfully switched from films to politics, Vijaykanth too expects to rule Tamil Nadu in the not- too-distant future.
The 54-year-old veteran of 145 films launched his own political party a few days ago and has vowed to contest all the 234 seats in the state legislature whenever the elections are held next.
