I READ with great interest and tingling excitement the proposal for the Kuala Lumpur Central Park,“310ha Central Park in the heart of KL proposed” (Sunday Star, Sept 10). Kuala Lumpur desperately needs a park befitting its status as the national capital and its aspirations to become a world-class city.
While Lake Gardens, Tasik Titiwangsa, KLCC park and the many scattered kiddie playgrounds can be technically considered as parks, Kuala Lumpur still does not have the Park.
