Fathers are superb in their own special way

READING “Malaysian teens grade dad a C-” (Sunday Star, July 17) reminded me about the relationship I share with my dad. I am obviously not a teenager any more, but now at 26, I would give my dad somewhere between a B and an A.

My reason is that nobody’s perfect. It’s indeed tough handling a demanding job as a senior police officer, and it’s even harder to put up with four kids. My being the only girl did not make that easier either.
