The 19th Asia-Pacific Roundtable, in an annual series initiated by ISIS Malaysia and now hosted by the Asean-ISIS network of thinktanks, was held during the week in Kuala Lumpur. Like the regional events the conference reflected, results have been mixed.
THE Asia-Pacific region continues to trundle on through the early 21st century, with a mixed bag of promise, purpose and peril. It is to the credit of the Asia-Pacific Roundtable that such inconclusiveness was reflected faithfully.
