Authorities must buck up to protect forests

I AM relieved that Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo has explained that developers did not encroach into the Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam Agriculture Park. 

But shouldn’t the authorities and developers know that development near the park would inevitably damage it? To me, even if only three areas of the park are exposed to the projects, it is already too many.
