IT was a trip that would have made little sense, or rather sen, in the first place for the Selangor Public Accounts Committee (PAC) which has become the subject of controversy.
If the committee, which is supposed to scrutinise the accounts and spending of state agencies and departments, had wanted to study public accountability, then it could have picked Finland, Singapore or Hong Kong which have high standards of public accountability.
