MINISTER in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili spoke of a special programme to keep secondary school students busy during the long school holidays to steer them away from unhealthy activities, “Programme to keep students busy”, (The Star, Dec 18).

I am thankful that a minister has eventually thought of such a programme to overcome the many pitfalls that may befall our youths whenever they have too much time on their hands with no suitable outlet to express their energy.
