Fine firms flouting smoking laws

IT is encouraging to know that the Government may regard smoking in the office as an occupational safety and health issue as secondary smoke is hazardous to non-smokers, “Smoking may be made an OSH issue”, (The Star, Nov 4).  

In offices where employers themselves are hardcore smokers, the employees are quite helpless and often become victims of second-hand smoke.
