Kudos to Puchong Jaya police for quick action

I REFER to your report, “Freed convict turns back to crime using skill learnt in jail”, (The Star, Oct 9).

My family is fortunate, or unfortunate as some might say, to find our home broken into on Oct 5 but our items including a laptop, digital camera and passport were recovered and returned to us last Wednesday.

We managed to get our items back after our neighbours called the police on seeing a man behaving suspiciously within the vicinity.

This led to the pursuit and arrest of the burglars by the police in three patrol cars.

My family and I would like to extend our gratitude to the Puchong Jaya police headed by C/Insp Azmi Awang Lah, his men Sjn Mohmad Johar, Kpl Shafi and the rest of the team for reacting efficiently and effectively in arresting the two burglars behind the break-ins in our area.

Puchong Jaya.
