IN conjunction with the annual International Coastal Clean-up Day, more than 50 staff members and students of Monash University Malaysia recently combed the Teluk Kemang beach in Port Dickson and removed more than 6,000 pieces of debris weighing over 135kg.  

More than 100 countries have participated in the International Coastal Clean-up Day, co-ordinated by the Ocean Conservancy, since its inception in 1986.
