THE Royal Malaysian Police is to be commended for the way it has been dealing with issues of law and order and the force that have been brought up for public debate in recent months.
In the past, the police tended to adopt a rather dismissive attitude towards criticism against the force or its methods, viewing critics as having hidden agendas or were subversive in intent.
