I WISH to comment on the proposal by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage to bar house owners from concreting their front yards.
DID director-general Datuk Keizrul Abdullah said the department planned to introduce regulations to disallow house owners from doing this so that rainwater would seep into the ground rather than flow swiftly into the drains and rivers.
