In this second part on Felda, The Star team looks at the country’s largest settlement. popularly called the Jengka Triangle, and how the 300,000 inhabitants there fare as well as the Palong schemes in Negri Sembilan which were set up in the late 1980s. The different experiences of settlers in the two settlements, including their aspirations and disappointments, highlights the problems and differences between the settlers and Felda.
