Now that the dust has settled on the 11th general election, ONG KIAN MENG steps back to analyse the results in a more detailed and comprehensive manner. 

THERE are many aspects of the results that can and should be analysed, including split-voting patterns, the impact of new voters, the implications of voter turnout, the administrative problems on polling day and others. But I will just present a deeper analysis of the Chinese vote.
