I REFER to your article on “Struggle to find some dignity” (Sunday Star, April 4). 

The concerns for the plight of the transsexual community expressed by Bukit Bintang MCA Chief Datuk Lee Chong Meng certainly needs urgent attention but to look at them simply as part of the tourism entertainment industry would be a gross disservice to this marginalised community.
