Act wisely to curb youth indiscipline

AFTER the high-flying fanfare comes the need to get down to the nitty-gritty. The National Service programme began with a few hitches, but it was generally well received. 

Lately, however, disturbing news has emerged about indiscipline, violence and elements of gangsterism among youngsters. We as a nation really need to face these challenges squarely in order to understand them better, so as to overcome the difficulties and avoid other likely problems.
