IT was reported in the press recently that a 51-year-old lady who was on her way to work was attacked while using an overhead pedestrian bridge at Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Her assailant tried to cover her face with a towel reeking of a strong chemical but she managed to struggle free. She fell when she tried to run away. The lady was fortunate that the man did not pursue her, but took off on a motorcycle parked below the bridge.
