DHAKA: Better late than never. After a lot of demands from conservationists, wildlife experts embarked on the first ever comprehensive census of Royal Bengal Tigers inhabiting the worlds biggest mangrove forest.
We must commend both the governments of Bangladesh and India for realising the need for such a census, although differences of opinion on how to approach it delayed the process.
