THE certificate of fitness of the housing estate (Taman Aman, Banting) where I live now, had been approved in 1998 and it was located just less than 500m away from Kedai Telekom Banting.
I moved into my new house in 2000 and had applied to Telekom for a fixed telephone line in April that year. Until today, I still cannot enjoy this facility.
