THE order has been given to Barisan Nasional leaders: Get your list of candidates ready as the 14 component parties begin their negotiations for the distribution of the 219 parliamentary seats and 567 state seats.

The discussions, to be handled by Barisan deputy president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, are expected to begin this week as the momentum for the general election has picked up and indications are that polling will be held very soon.
