No hassle renewing passport in Malacca

My wife and I recently renewed our international passports at the immigration office in Malacca and what a pleasant experience it was.

We reached there at about 10am on a Saturday, and the whole process took about one hour.

We were then told to come back in three days to collect the passports. And when we did, there was no long queue or any hassle at all.

The officer gave us prompt service with a smile – that's what we call efficiency.

Before leaving, I asked the officer whether my parents who live in Johor Baru could renew their passports in Malacca. She politely told me they could.

So on your next trip to Malacca, don't forget to bring along your passport for renewal.
