Sadly uncivilised on road safety

I CANNOT agree more with Safety-Conscious Engineer’s points on road safety, “Learn to value life and limb” (The Star, Dec 2).  

It is unfortunate that while we Malaysians take pride in our tireless efforts to realise our vision of becoming a developed nation in 2020, we are sadly uncivilised when it comes to road safety.
