Bush unmoved as Iraq gets bloody

IT is now almost six months since the US and its coalition forces invaded and occupied Iraq. But if the US had expected a liberator's welcome, it was sadly mistaken. Today, the country is mired with bomb explosions, suicide attacks and daily incursions against US forces, Iraqi security personnel and civilians. 

This week’s bombing of the Red Cross Headquarters in Baghdad left the Red Cross, the UN and other relief organisations with no choice but to pull out of the country.
