I READ with interest the recent statement by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Salleh Mohd Yasin in the newspapers that all science and mathematics related courses in UKM will be conducted in English from 2005.

This is a bold move and must be lauded. I am sure it will not be a big problem for the students as they are already being exposed to English.
