Fruitless bid to sign up as voter

I AM a Malaysian citizen in Britain. I believe the Election Commission in Malaysia is in the middle of its registration process.

I am trying to get myself registered on the electoral roll. I called up the Malaysian High Commission here and they told me they used to receive forms from Malaysia but for the current registration drive they have had no guidance and no forms.

I wrote to the Election Commission two months ago but have yet to get a reply to my enquiry and their website at www.spr.gov.my is inaccessible.

I am, therefore, helpless. From my conversation with the relevant officer at the Malaysian High Commission I understand I am not the only Malaysian citizen here who is enquiring about getting registered.

I would be grateful if the officials in charge could get back to me.
