SINCE the Government is already cracking down on so many things, it may as well add the local councils to its list. Such a move will go down well with the public who has been under-served by employees of such organisations.

The local councils are the agencies supposed to look after the affairs of the residents under their control. They provide all the public amenities to make life easier and liveable for the residents who pay for these services through rates and taxes.
