LAST week, my colleagues and I spoke to 50 of our peers. Their sobering responses confirmed some of our niggling suspicions - namely, those of us who left school for work from 1997 onwards have seen our careers stymied from the start, if not sputter to a stop.
Terrorists, warmongers and viruses have conspired to make us feel like members of the Hard Luck Club. The economy has soured so much so that we have begun to feel grateful for pay freezes – because at least that means no pay cuts.
