THE FRENCH are indeed quite familiar with acts of terror. Their country has had its fair share of grappling with terrorists’ networks and clandestine activity.  

Mass attacks have not spared even the delightful city of Paris, where 13 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in a series of terrorist attacks in 1995.
