Every month I make payment to Perbadanan Urus Air Selangor Berhad (PUAS) for my water usage. Each time I make the payment, I do it with much reluctance.
I am sure many in Subang Jaya would agree with me when I say the water quality delivered is appalling.
Malaysians have been called an apathetic lot for not bringing up issues with the appropriate authority and instead bicker over it.
This is not the case with the water issue. I have seen numerous letters sent in to complain.
There was even one which was met by a reply stating that the water had been tested and found to be of good quality by the authority. The reply is truly insulting.
It is hard to imagine the yellowish water that comes through the tap could be classified as “good.”
I would like to see PUAS come clean once and for all. I am definitely not puas (satisfied) with the water quality that I have been getting.
