I RETURNED from Beijing on MAS flight MH 373 on March 29. During the flight, I observed some passengers sneezing and coughing without covering their mouths despite the SARS scare. 

This was very discomforting, especially since Beijing had been declared by the World Health Organisation as a “danger area”.
