Grandson of SARS victim ‘normal’ after scare

A TEENAGER with high fever was rushed to Jerantut Hospital on Sunday, but after a blood test and x-ray examination, was declared “normal” and sent home. 

Apprehension over the teenager came in the wake of the SARS scare, which claimed its first victim in Malaysia with the death of an elderly man from Pahang identified as Wai Yoke Nam. The teenager was said to be his grandson.
