A CHINESE daily raised the question of whether companies in Singapore, which are affected by SARS, will be compensated by insurance companies. 

It reported that a Motorola factory in Singapore suffered manpower loss after a worker suffering from SARS stopped work at the production line and some 350 workers were asked to take leave for 10 days.
