SEVEN masked thieves overpowered two security guards and an employee in a hypermarket in Penang before using oxyacetylene torches to cut through three auto teller machines (ATMs) inside the premises to steal RM150,000 in cash, both the Sin Chew Daily and Nanyang Siang Pau reported yesterday.
The cash was taken from the three ATMs in the 4am incident on Saturday, reported Sin Chew.
