Serdang chosen as model new village

SERDANG has been chosen as a model new village among 452 new villages throughout the country, Nanyang Siang Pau reported. 

Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said Serdang was also known as a shoe city, with many factories located in the area, and situated near to newly-developed areas such as Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.
