Bus terminal shift to Duta burdens travellers

"KL-MALACCA TRAVELLER" of Malacca (via e-mail writes:)

ALL southbound travellers going through Puduraya now have to take their buses from the Duta bus terminal for reasons unknown to the public.

As a very frequent traveller between Kuala Lumpur and Malacca, I totally disagree with the move as it burdens the public unnecessarily.

The Duta terminal is served by very few buses and taxis. There are no LRT stations near the terminal.

Most of the travellers will have to travel to Puduraya and then take a feeder bus to Duta which is about half an hour away.

There are no proper pick-up points for passengers taking the feeder bus service. They have to wait beside the curb along Jalan Pudu for the infrequent feeder buses.

I would like the management or the Transport Ministry to know that the service we are getting from Puduraya is already appalling.

Please do not burden us by changing the transit point from Puduraya to Duta.
