SEOUL: US Forces Korea (USFK) remain a guardian angel for a certain segment of our society, but they fell to a subject of abhorrence among another significant portion of our citizenry due to a compound of political and social factors.
We believe the noticeable growth of anti-USFK or anti-American sentiment here in recent years is due to negligence in serious efforts to stem the trend by either side of the alliance.
