BERITA HARIAN addressed the Asean Free Trade Area or Afta, saying that 2003 would go down as an important year because it gives a new beginning and a new chapter in the concept of an open market. 

Quoting I-Berhad chairman Datuk Lim Kim Hong, the paper said Malaysia has many strengths compared to some other Asean countries.
