A RM900 MONTHLY instalment for a new house could have driven unemployed carpenter Goh Siew Seng and his wife, Ng Ah Siew, to take their own lives and the lives of their two children at their Taman Selesa Jaya flat in Skudai, Johor, on Saturday.

A China Press front-page report stated that the couple had been quarrelling over financial problems they were facing since they started paying the instalment for a new house in Taman Bukit Indah six months ago.
