Shocked by rudeness of doctor at Ipoh GH

I AM a retired teacher and am almost 69 years old. In school I always emphasised to my pupils the necessity of good manners and, most of all, to acknowledge the salutations of others no matter how unimportant they might be.

I went to the Ipoh General Hospital the other day to have my half-yearly medical check-up. I greeted the woman doctor but met with no response. She stood up, went behind me and put the stethoscope on my chest. She looked at my medical record and prescribed four types of medication. The whole process took less than a minute.
