THE Education Ministry is to be complimented on its determination to inject a new lease of life into national schools to make them attractive to pupils of all races.
It is sad that these schools, some of which were of premier quality, have deteriorated somewhat, to the extent that many parents are opting to send their children to vernacular schools and even sekolah agama rakyat.
