WHEN the Putra LRT first began its operations from Kelana Jaya to Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur, in August 1998, it gave special discount fares for senior citizens.
Subsequently, in November 1998, it reduced the fare structure across the board and the special discount for senior citizens was withdrawn concurrently.
