PIRATES in the recording industry are becoming more brazen as they hire violent gangs to terrorise enforcement teams from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry. The criminals have reportedly even threatened the minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. 

The situation seems to have deteriorated from the unacceptable to the intolerable. But enforcement officers must be able to continue doing their job unhindered and undeterred, despite various blunt and sharp objects being thrust in their path by hired gangs over the years.
