Shocking increase in bus fares for CNY holidays

I WISH to draw the attention of the authorities to the raising of express bus fares for the coming Chinese New Year holidays.

Recently, I went to buy a bus ticket back to Penang from Johor but was shocked to find the fare had been raised from RM45 to RM150. It is sad to know that many unscrupulous express bus operators have been trying to make quick profits from travellers, especially those who are desperate to go back for family reunions, during such festive seasons.
