Singapore navy ship collision dominates headlines

MALAYSIA'S southern neighbour dominated the news in the Malay newspapers as a collision between a container and a Singapore navy vessel in the waters near the disputed Pulau Batu Putih grabs the headlines in Mingguan Malaysia and Berita Minggu yesterday. 

In the incident, “the largest loss of life from a single accident” in the history of the Singapore navy according to the republic's Defence Minister Tony Tan, a naval crew member was found dead while three others were missing.
