MPs must listen, not run from debates


THE recent uproar in the Dewan Rakyat casts a shadow over the very principles and ethos of democracy.

In Tuesday’s fiasco, when several Members of Parliament chose to disrupt rather than dialogue, raises a fundamental question: Are our representatives genuinely living up to the mantle of responsibility, trust and, most importantly, the task set before them?
