ON Thursday, Malaysia’s new Health Minister told the nation that by the end of next month, Covid-19 will no longer be considered a pandemic. It will be classified as endemic.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, an endemic disease is one that is “generally or constantly found among people in a particular area”.
