IT took a young man’s daring escape from an apartment in Bandar Mahkota Cheras last week to train the spotlight on begging syndicates once again.

The Star highlighted the plight of a 21-year-old and 18 others, a group of youths who could no longer bear the torture of being forced to beg on the streets to fill their syndicate’s coffers.
