Anti-dengue blitz – make it really bite

THE government’s anti-dengue enforcement blitz is on. Over the next two months, no mercy will be shown to those found harbouring Aedes mosquitoes in residential premises and enforcement in construction sites will be stepped up.

The Health Ministry will focus on dengue hotspots and outbreak areas. The operation is also aimed at increasing public involvement in eradicating breeding spots.
